Our hotel is located right in the middle of Quedlinburg’s picturesque downtown area, next to the city hall at Market Square. For that reason alone, our house is an ideal starting point to explore the city’s numerous attractions either on foot or riding the city tour train,

Built in the 17 th century, our house has a typical medieval half-timbered structure. While reconstructing the building, we gave special consideration to keeping its integrity and original distinctiveness.

Eco-building materials and preserved original substance, along with today’s standard in comfort, guarantee a pleasant stay.

Just a few examples: The original wooden floorboard was carefully restored and refurbished. The reconstructed half-timbered walls and ceilings were trimmed in their genuine way, using clay for the plastering. This material ensures a pleasant climate in the rooms. The walls were decorated using eco--paint materials and fantastic mural paintings. The furniture, sporting the unostentatious Shaker-style, and the classy natural fabrics underline the rooms’ charm. Each one of our rooms has its individual style.
